The English topic

English is great. I always blog in English simply because I can reach more people and I have friends who don't speak Swedish (seriously we're not that many).

I went on a language course in England when I was 14 and then I chose a bilingual program for gymnasiet. So I had English (A, B, C), Civics (A, B), Georgaphy (A, B), History (A, B), Europe knowledge and international relations in English. I remember that we all thought it was strange when we could do our assignments in Swedish. But that was pretty much only in Swedish class...

I consider myself fluent and it's not unusual for me to be speaking Swedish and then suddenly there's a word that I can't remember what it is in Swedish, but I know it in English. It's so frustrating!

I use to fool around in school with an English accent...and Scottish, it sound terrible x) "kiek the coo"

Haha, my English teacher is kinda funny. He starts almost every lesson with "Can I have you attention, please?". The problem is that he pronounces attention like aaa-tention (with a as in a-teens or grapes). I find almost impossible to not laugh at him. xD

My next English assignment is to write a fairytale. Have no idea what it's going to be about...

I'm supposed to write a typical fairytale for swedish...

I really need to work with my English.
I like listen to audio books, mostly HP and The Hunger Games, got all books on my iPod - but still.


I still don't get how I managed to get M in both English A and B - in B my teacher was very strict. She'd just moved down from Stockholm, were she had taught at, as far as I know, in a pretty strict school. Ehh..


Well, I should probably cook soon... dinner, my turn today!

I should really get off the Muggle Portal and start working on my English assignment! Gaaah... I always finish mine between ten and eleven in the evening on Thursdays (we are supposed to hand them in first thing on Friday mornings). I really should begin... *browses the internet for a few more hours*

Oh, what the heck, I've got top marks on them all so far. This is clearly a working strategy.

EDIT: GAAH. And I have a two-page history essay due tomorrow. I have finished one page and have included all the facts I was going to write about. FML.

Helu boys and girls. Since it's pretty nice to speak (well, write) english, I thought it would be a good idea to bring this thread back to life.
