Chapter 13
Amy’s p.o.v…

Katherine sits in her bunk the rest of the ride, and she keeps ignoring everyone, except Zayn. I see him walk up to her a few minutes after the fight, and he doesn’t come down until we have stopped.
When we are at the hotel, Katherine ignores Christina and just walks into the lobby. She goes up to Paul, and they talk for a minute before he nods at her.
They come up to us.
“Okay, Katherine wants to swish roommates, so if it’s okay with you guys, she’ll sleep with Amy and Christina with Lisa”.
Everyone is quiet, but then Christina groans.
“Come on Kath, don’t make such a big fuss about it!” she says, rolling her eyes at Katherine.
Katherine just shakes her head and walk to the elevator.

When I go into our room I look around. It’s a little bit bigger than the last hotel, but the beds are harder. There is a mini-fridge and I desk with a chair. I hear Katherine in the shower. I think that she needs a little time to herself, so I walk out to the corridor.
It’s a very fancy hotel. The floor is dark wood and the steps are lined in velvet.
I hear a door open and I turn around, only to see Niall walking out of his room.
“Hey”, I say, and he looks up.
“Hi”.
I sit down, and rest my head to the wall.
“What are you doing out here?” I ask him as he sits down next to me.
“Harry won’t shut up about Lisa; I seriously think he’s going to propose soon”, Niall answer.
I grin and he smiles.
“Christina and Katherine would kick his butt if he did”.
Niall nod, agreeing with my statement.
“What about you?”
I sight.
“I just thought Katherine needed a little time to herself, you know”.
Niall nods.
“Do you know why she was so angry?” He asks me, and I shake my head.
“Not really. I knew that Kath wrote poems, of course, but I’ve never read them. She doesn’t show them to anyone, and I really don’t understand how Zayn could read them.”
Niall thinks for a moment.
“I think that he likes her, a lot. Maybe she likes him too, and that’s why she let him read her poems”.
I nod slowly.
“Maybe, but it still doesn’t sound like Katherine”.

We chat a little about the show yesterday, and about Paris, but the topics slowly fade away and leave us with an awkward silence.
‘Say something’ I think to myself. ‘Ask him anything!’
“What did you think when you first saw me?” I ask him.
Great topic Amy, brilliant.
I really should consider thinking before I speak.

A little smile plays on his lips and he turns to me.
“I though that you were the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen. And I still do”.
I look at him, just for a second, but that’s enough to drown in his eyes again. It’s lucky I sit down, because I’m literally about to fain right here and now.
“Are you okay?” Niall asks, looking concerned at me.
I nod slowly. “Yeah… I’m fine… it’s just, I don’t know if I can hold myself any longer”.
He looks at me, quite confused.
“Hold yourself from what?” He asks.
“From kissing you”, I answer him simply.
He doesn’t say anything at first. Then he takes a deep breath, and I see that he tries to keep himself from smiling.
“Then, don’t”, He says, and looks me in my eyes.



Niall’s p.o.v…

“From kissing you”, Amy answer me.
I feel my stomach drop and I almost can’t hold myself from smiling like crazy. I see her eyes widen a little when she realise what she said.
Come on Niall, say something! Something cute, funny, anything!
“Then, don’t”, I blur out, before I can regret it.

I see her smile a little as she starts to lean in, and I quickly do the same.

But before our lips reach each other I hear voices from the stairs and we stop, with our faces inches from each other. We quickly stand up as the voices come closer.
Louis and Liam shows up and they look surprised when they see us.
“Hello there”, Liam says.
“Hi”, Amy answers him, sounding very nervous.

“What are you guys up to?” Louis asks us.
He looks at our red faces and you clearly see that he doesn’t believe us when we say that we didn’t do anything much.
“Oh, okay”, He says and meet Liam’s gaze for a second. It looks like they are sending each other telepathic messages. Like, seriously, it looks like they can read minds. That would be cool if they could though… Well I’m going of track.

One of the doors opens and Katherine’s head pops out.
“Amy, can you help me with something?” She asks.
Amy gives me a sad look and goes in to her room, to Katherine.
And I stand there, looking at the closed door, still remembering the feeling of her warm breath on my lips so clearly.

“Okay dude, you said you would stay away from her for a while!” Harry yells at me a while later.
I groan into the pillow and snuggle in to the soft blankets even more. The warm bed comforts me, even though it’s very uncomfortable.
Harry sights.
“You give me no choice”, He mumbles.
After a second I realise what he’s about to do, but it’s a second to late.
Harry grabs the bottom of the blankets I’m rolled into, and pulls, hard.
I fall out of the bed and hit the hard floor with a bang.

“Seriously?” I ask him and pick up the hem of my shirt to show him the new bruise on my hip.
“I don’t care about your bruise Niall”, Harry snaps and by the harsh sound in his voice I go quiet.
“Louis told me that you and Amy basically sat and made out in the corridor today.” Harry continues.
“I’ll kill him”, I mutter and sit down at my bed again. “And we didn’t even kiss! If he and Liam didn’t interrupt, maybe it would’ve been something”.

Harry gives me sympathetic look, witch is not really the look I need right now.
“If you don’t mind, I’m going back to sleep”, I tell him coldly.
I take my blanket from his arms and snuggle up in them again. I close my eyes, and hope that he’ll go away soon.

Amy’s p.o.v…

I sit on Christina’s bed, not knowing what to do. We are sitting in Christina and Lisa’s room. It’s the day after the almost kiss between me and Niall.
The girls sit beside me.
“So you guys didn’t kiss?” Katherine asks me.
I shake my head.
“We were about to, but Louis and Liam came”, I explain, again.
Christina sights, clearly irritated.
“She already told you, Kath”.
One good thing about this was that Katherine and Christina talked again. Even if it was quite cold conversations, it was conversations. Better than nothing, right?

“But do you want to kiss him?” Lisa asks me. I meet her gaze and sight.
“I don’t know”, I whisper, and I feel so worthless.

Christina’s phone buzzes and she opens the text she got.
“It’s Liam”, She explains. “He asks if we want to watch a movie with the guys”.

We all nod and Christina texts Liam back. A few minutes later we hear a sound in the corridor, it sound like at least ten buffalos running around. I mean, if buffalos could laugh and talk.

The door flies open and the guys stumble in one by one.
Niall is in last, and he meets my gaze as fast as he comes in to the room. I part my lips, trying to say something, but nothing comes out.

All of the guys are holding blankets, pillows, snacks and movies. Basically everything you’ll ever need for a perfect movie-night!
