Chapter 41 part 1


Niall’s POV

I look up, only to see that Amy’s gone.
“Shit”, I mumble, and stand up. But before I can go after her, all five of her sisters come into the room.
Christina walks fast up to me. Without a word, she slaps me over the face, hard. I almost fall down on the floor by the slap, and my vision is quite blurry for a while. That’s going to leave a bruise.
“That’s for hurting Amy”, Christina says and walks away.
Lisa is second, and slaps my other cheek. It’s almost as hard as Christina, and I stumble a little.
“That’s for being a jerk”.
I take a deep breath. “Look, I’m so sorry, I just-“
Dani takes a step forward and knees me in the crouch.

I guess I can’t say Amy didn’t warn me about that.

“And that’s because I’ve always wanted to knee someone”.
With a groan, I slid down at the floor, panting.
That freaking hurts.
After a while I can stand up, even though I have to grab on to the bed in order to not fall down again.
Dani looks quite surprised at the pain her knee caused me, and smirks a bit before backing into the shadows again.
“I’m… I’m sorry”, I mumble between breaths.
Katherine snorts. “Don’t say that to us! Tell Amy!”

I run my fingers through my hair and say with a calm voice: “I will, if you let me come through so I can go after her”.

There is a knock on the door, and the boys come in. Their eyes travels from my bruised cheeks, to the girls, standing there, pissed of.
“Oh, did we interrupt a beat-up-Niall-game here?” Louis asks, and looks at the girls and me.
“I need to talk to Amy”, I say and look at the sisters. For a reason, I feel like they are going to be the problem when it comes of calming Amy down, not Amy.
Liam looks at me, sorrow in his eyes. “She’s not here”.
I look at him confused. “What do you mean she’s not here?”
He shrugs. “I just saw her, she got into a car and drove of”.

My mouth goes dry, and I look at Christina, who has gotten really pale.
“Were can she be?” She asks out in the air, and we all look at each other.
“You are her sisters!” Louis exclaims, making the girls kill him with their eyes.
“Well, I have no idea”, Christina mutters, biting her lip and looking at me nervously.


Amy’s POV

I pull up on the drive-way, and then turn the engine of. I get out form the car, and look up and the building in front of me.
I have no idea why I went here, but I did. So that’s that.
With determinate steps, I walk into the pub. Immediately, the smell of alcohol and sweaty people hits me.
I walk up to the bar, were a young guy is cleaning a few glasses. He’s maybe a few years older, and is making drinks with a practiced hand. He has dark brown, almost black, hair that is quite long and together in a ponytail on his back.
“Hi sweetheart”, He says with a fake smile when I sit down at the bar. “What do you want?”
I’m still looking around in the bar, and am confused when he looks at me.
“Oh, um, surprise me”, I mumble as an answer, and he smirks.
“First time at a pub?” He asks, while pouring a drink into a glass.
I stare at him. “How do you know?” I ask him, and he shrugs.
“The way you look around. It kind of tells that you aren’t used to this sort of things”.
I nod. “Well, you are right”.

He smiles again and places a drink in front of me. I take up the glass, and sip at the liquid.
Chills goes down my spine as the strong drink hits my tongue, and it burns in my throat as I swallow.
I love it.
Soon, I’ve finished the glass, and ask for another.
“You should take it easy with that”, the bartender says. “If you’re not used to it, you shouldn’t drink that much”.
I raise my eyebrow and point at the glass with my index-finger. “Can I get another one, please?”

He sighs and pours up another drink. He places it in front of me, and I take it up.
“So”, I say. “What’s your name, then?”
He looks at me. “Eric”, He answers shortly, and I smile.
“Okay, hello Eric, my name is-“
“Amy”, He answers. I look at him surprised.
“Are you a fan?” I ask him, and he smirks. He doesn’t really seem like the type of guy that would listen to Made in America.
“Not really, but I read the papers. You’re Niall Horan’s girlfriend”.

My lips are pressed together. I take a big sip of the drink, and place the glass at the table again.
“It’s nice knowing that that’s the only thing I’m known as”, I mutter sarcastically.
