Chapter 39 part 2

We all go inside the house, and are immediately surrounded by the brothers and parents. Hugs, hand-shakes and cheek-kisses are exchanged, and it takes a while until we all sit at the table and eat the food Lynne just cooked.
“Were's Christina?” Liam asks and looks up from his plate. I look around the table, to realise that Christina isn’t there.
“I’m right here, Liam”, a voice says behind us.
Liam turns around and sees a smiling Christina standing in the doorway. He rises from his chair and walks up to her, fast. He wraps his arms around her waist and spins her around, making her laugh.
“Take it easy”, she says when he puts her down.
Louis too, walks up and hugs her, and she waves at us others.

Now that I think about it, I don’t really remember Christina being here yesterday. Either way, I didn’t talk to her.

Christina sits down next to Mike at the table, and begins to eat.

When we are done, we boys and the girls go out to the lounge. We haven’t seen each other for a while, I think we deserve some alone-time, I mean.

Katherine brings a few bags of crisps and soda.
“Should we watch a movie?”
The others agree and begin coming up with suggestions on movies to watch.
“Marley and Me!” Lauren exclaims, and I scrunch my nose a bit.
“I really hate that movie”, I tell her, and she looks at me rather offended.
“It’s a great movie! And sad”.
I nod. “That’s why I don’t like it. It’s too much tears in it, alright?”

Christina shrugs. “Maybe we could just talk, catch up a bit?”
“Fine”, Dani mutters.
“How have y’all been?” Katherine asks, and looks at Liam and Louis. “It’s been awhile”, she continues.
“It’s been quite calm, just staying home with the family”, Louis answers.
“Did you see your girlfriend?” Lauren asks, and Louis’ smile fades a bit.
“Oh, yeah, I did”, He says and looks down at his lap. “We actually broke up, a few days after Christmas”.

The silence lies down over the room. No one really knows what to say, and I pat Louis on his shoulder.
“I’m sorry to hear that, bro”, I say, and Louis smiles weakly to me.
“Yeah, well, we’ve been quite unsteady for a while; I guess I’m not surprised”.

No one says anything else; we just sit there and look at each other with an awkward silence in the air.
“When did we become so awkward?” Dani suddenly asks, making all of us smile a bit.
“When did you begin to wear a choker?” Zayn shots back, pointing at Dani’s choker-necklace, and Dani shrugs.
“I’m emotionally attached to the choker”, she states and we all laugh at how some things never change.

Sorry Kath, I guess you don’t want me to break you two up in the next chapter?

Zayn & Katherine: NO!

Kath: Please just stop talking, okay? *Takes Zayn’s hand and rolls her eyes*

Zayn: *Shakes his head and mutters something about Solider being “true and unique”*

Zayn babe, even though I love to see you and Katherine fighting about poetry and I could watch it THE WHOLE DAY bc AWWH SO CUTE but we have to move on and you guys have to answer the question!

Zayn: Fine…

To Zatherine: you are together, right? I’ll take the fact that you guys just looked at each other lovingly as a yes…

Katherine: *blushes* well, I don’t really know, we didn’t come official for that long ago and we still are trying to process the amazing thing that is happening! Of course I love him and I really want the fans to know about us soon but I think we need to find the right time for us both so we can-

Katherine: Seriously though, Dauren?

Harry: Should I show you?

Harry: *takes of his shirt to reveal his tattoos*

Zayn: *nods at Lisa* and there she goes

Niall: Oh god *rolls his eyes*

Lisa: Oh, um… erm….

Harry: *smirks* this one is 17BLACK. *shows a tattoo below his collarbone*

Harry: This one is a… um… butterfly… *points at his torso, below his chest*

Dani: A butterfly though? Why?

Lisa: Shut up Dani. Harry, continue, please

Harry: I have two tattoos here. One on the inside of my right arm that says “Things I Can”, and one on the inside of my left arm that say “Things I Can’t”. And then I have-

Alright Harry, I would love to see you continue, but I’m worried that Lisa will start to drool over your chest of you don’t take on your shirt. Okay?

Harry: Fine… *take on his shirt*

Lisa: *mutters to herself* for the love of god Harry….

You guys are so annoying! I can’t imagine how it must be to live on a tour with you guys… Oh well… Katherine, your turn…

Katherine: Uh-oh… I’m scared…

Zayn: Kath, honey, you don’t have to answer if you don’t-

Katherine: *takes Zayn’s hand* I can take care of myself thank you. And no, I don’t think I would kiss him, since I’m saving my first kiss to my wedding, but who knows what happens? Maybe Zayn will be the one who changes how I think about that!

Zayn: I would never try to change you, and if you want to save your kiss, then it’s fine with me.

Katherine: I love youuuu

Zayn: I love you moreeee

Dani: I’m about to puke
