Uhm, isn't that "sjöko" or something, or am I out completely wrong?

Oh this is back!

I started thinking in English the second a lay my eyes on this.

I actually have the exact same problem. It kind of bothers me. Of course it is great that English becomes so international. But when people use English words when there is a suitable Swedish word or phrase for it. Just ughh.
Especially when the words are used out of context, it's just horrible.

Both languages are being butchered by this behaviour.

I love English, but hate my English teacher... She's so angry all the year round. So, freakin pissed. And bad... Like Voldemort

Btw. last night I dreamed that I got seven in an English test. Yey, funny -.-

That happens to me very often too. I think my dad's starting to become kind of annoyed with me when it happens. He just tells me: "You are in Sweden, speak Swedish". But I can't help it. Sometimes there are words that I do know in Swedish, but I just can't seem to remember them when I need them, so instead I use the English word if that is closer within reach.

But well, my grades in school are better in English than in Swedish. Maybe that means something?

Guess I'm just ruined by using too much of the English language, as I even think and dream in Enlgish quite often.

Margaret and Jinx - we are in the same boat, girls! I honestly do think this is mainly because I have been going to an English school for nearly four years now, which of course has had its impact on my English language - but also on my Swedish language. Even though I do have the same grade in both languages, I feel more secure when speaking or writing in English than I do while using Swedish. This is kind of alarming, to be honest, seeing as I am born here (even though I am positive that I was born in the wrong country at the wrong time). I don't know, it just comes naturally to me to write and speak in English. Of course it does the same with Swedish, but I have lost so many words and such in my Swedish vocabulary. For nearly two years ago, all I ever did was to create these complicated and complex sentences with the most weirdest words while writing in Swedish, but now I really have to think hard to get those words forward in my mind. It's scary, haha!
