Chapter 32 part 2

Niall’s POV…

“So…”
I look up at Louis, who is just standing there awkwardly besides Liam.
“So what?” I ask him, irritated.
“So… Are we spending the rest of the night here or are we going to that club like we planned?”

I look from Harry who is sitting next to me, and looks like he lost his will to live, to Zayn who sits besides Harry, who sights deeply.
“I’ll go to the bus”, He says, making Louis groan.
“I get that you all miss your girlfriends, but it’s been like two minutes since they left! I promise you, they’re not even on the plane yet”.

“So you mean we can make them come back?” Harry asks, looking up at Louis with a hopeful face.
“No, sorry Haz”, Louis says and pats Harry on his shoulder. Harry sights and looks down at his hands again.
“I’ll go to the bus too”.

We all rise from our seats and go out from the airport. Outside, the tour-bus is parked. We go inside, and as fast as I am in, I plump down at my bunk.
“I’m not leaving this bunk until tomorrow, when I’m going home”, I state, and Harry agrees.
“Yeah, we don’t have any shows left. Why bother?” he asks and covers himself with his blanket.



A few days later…

Amy’s POV…

I pick up the home-phone and dial Niall’s number. I hesitate for a moment before pressing call.
After a while he picks up.
“Hello?”
I relax at the sound of his voice, and even though he can’t see me I smile.
“Hey baby”.
“Oh, hi Amy! How are you?” Niall asks me.
“I’m good; it’s nice to be home. What about you?”
“It’s the same here, good to be home”.
He goes quiet, and I try to come up with something to say.
“I miss you”, I whisper, and I feel the tears burning in my throat as I think about him.
The last couple of days have been horrible, even though I will never admit it to Niall.

“I miss you too, babe. Is it getting bad, the hate?”
I furrow my eyebrows. “I little bit. But I’ll live”.
“You better do or I’ll get you”, He jokes, and I chuckle a little bit.
“I may have short legs, but I swear I can out-run you”, I say, and he laughs.
“Is that a challenge?”

I lie down at my bed and close my eyes. “No, absolutely not”.

“You know, I’m thinking that you maybe could come visiting me after Christmas?”

I grin widely at the thought of travelling to Ireland to meet Niall and his family. “I would love to, Niall, that would be amazing”.

The door swings open and Katherine glares at me.
“You have been talking forever! I need to call Zayn”.

I roll my eyes at her. “Niall, I have to go, but I’ll call you later, okay?”

He mutters something under his breath, and then speaks up. “Fine. I love you, bye”
I grin into the phone. “I love you too”.

Chapter 33 part 1

Two days before Christmas…

Amy’s POV…

“It’s Dinner!”

Slowly I get out of bed and go out from my room. The others are already sitting around the table, and they all look up when I come into the room.
“Look who decided to come out from her cave”, Mike jokes when I sit down next to him.
Without saying a word, I bow over my food and start to pray.
The others follow me, and when we’re done we begin eating. I sit there and pokes in my food, still quiet, and when I look up I meet Lisa’s gaze. She looks as sad as me, but she at least tries to covers it with a smile.
“Are you okay Amy?” Dad asks, looking concerned at me.
I look down at my food without saying anything.
“No, she’s not okay”, Lisa says in a “duh” tone.
Everybody looks at us.
“Well, at least you both came down for dinner. I was worried that you would lie in your beds until Christmas”, Mom says and stands up. She takes my plate and puts in the dishwasher.

“Why don’t you just call the guy?” Alex asks and looks at me.
“I’ve done that”, I answer him. Alex thinks for a moment.
“Maybe you could go visiting him?”

My eyes find dads and he shakes his head.
“Not happening”, he says, and I pout.
“But why? It’ll only be a couple of days!”

Lisa looks up from her plate, suddenly very interested in the subject. “Wait, if Amy can go to Ireland I want to go see Harry!”
“And I need to meet Zayn!” Katherine exclaims and crosses her arms over her chest.

“Nice there Alex, thank you for that”, Mom says to Alex, who just shrug his shoulders.

“But you and Zayn aren’t even official”, Lisa says to Katherine and rolls her eyes.
Katherine gasps, and looks offended at Lisa. “Of course we are!”
Lisa shakes her head and smirks a little. “No, you aren’t, you’re just flirting with each other, it’s nothing serious”.
“No! We are… He likes me. We’re serious.” Katherine says and looks into Lisa’s eyes.
Lisa raises an eyebrow. “Have you even kissed him?”

Katherine goes quiet, and looks down at her plate.
“I thought that you would… understand why I haven’t kissed him”, She says, looking at Lisa who has a regretting face. “Ugh, it doesn’t matter what you say.” Katherine whispers, before rising from her chair.
“Hey there young lady, were do you think you’re going?” Mom asks and grabs Katherine’s arm.
“I’m going to my room”, She says simply.
“We are having a family dinner here, Katherine”, dad says sternly, and Katherine’s eyes narrows a bit. She looks from all of us, who stares at her.
“Can you really call this a family anymore?”
Then she goes out of the kitchen and up the stairs to her room without another word.

“Was that necessary, Lisa?”
Lisa looks down at her lap. “I’ll tell her I’m sorry later”, she mutters. “Can we please continue the conversation now?”

My dad looks from me to Lisa.
“I don’t think we can afford it, girls”, he says, and we groan in frustration.

“Maybe they can come here, they have the money”, Lauren suggest.
We all look at her like she just became the smartest woman on the planet.
“Have I ever told you how much I love you?” Lisa asks seriously, and Lauren smiles sadly.
“Only when I do something that makes you happy”, She jokes, before grinning really big.

Dad looks up to mom, who nods her head. He sights and looks at us again.
“If they can come, it’s okay for us”.
