Chapter 25

Niall's POV...

We walk back to the hotel, but soon we have to leave to get ready for the show.
The family decides on taking a car for themselves, since it’s no way 18 people fits in one car.
As we close the car door we all look at each other. It’s Harry who breaks the silence.
“And you had no idea that they would come?” He asks Lisa, who looks down at her hands.
She shakes her head and he nods slowly.

“But it went well!” She explains to him. He shrugs and turns away from her. “Harry?” Lisa asks him, but he doesn’t answer. Lisa’s face flushes in anger, and she inhales deeply. She’s getting quite mad, and she narrows her eyes at the sight of Harry neck. “Harry, look at me”.
Harry still doesn’t respond to her strong voice, he just keeps looking out through the window.
“Harry Edward Styles, look at me, now!”
No one says a word when Harry jumps at the sound of Lisa’s harsh voice and then turns around slowly and meets her eyes.
“What is it?” He asks, with a cold voice, and Lisa glares at him.
“I’m not going to fight about this, Harry. It went well. End of story”.

“Fine”, Harry mutters, and silence spreads in the car for a minute.
“Good”, Lisa says, before pressing her lips against Harry’s for a second. “I don’t want to fight with you”, she says when she pulls away, and she strokes her thumb over his cheek.

I see a little smirk spreads across his face, like it doesn’t matter to him what Lisa wants, as long as she isn’t mad at him.


The show went fine, even thought it was more nervous for all of us since there were people we actually know in the audience. Soon we are back to the hotel. The whole family is staying at the same hotel as us so it’ll be easy to see everybody.

I, Amy, and Lauren are playing with Joey and Nick. We are all sitting on the floor in little brother’s room.
There is a knock on the door and I stand up. I open the door and let Louis and Alex in.
“Hi”, Alex says and shows me his fist. I quickly bump it and smile at him.
Louis sits down with the little boys, and soon he’s playing like he known them for years. That’s how Louis Tomlinson is, I guess.

I hear my phone begin ringing and take it up from my pocket. I glance at the screen, and flinch when I see the name, but I don’t say anything.
“Are you okay mate?” Louis asks me and I meet his eyes. I nod slowly, but I see that Louis doesn’t believe me.
“I’m fine, really”, I say to him, and he raises an eyebrow.
“Alright then”.

I stand up and go out to the corridor before answering the call.
“Hello?” I say into the phone, quite nervous.
“Niall, are you serious?”
I close my eyes for a second, and decide to play really dumb. That always works, right?
“Oh, hi Simon! How’s it going?”
I hear Simon Cowell sight at the other end. “Amy Cimorelli, Niall?”
“Amy, what about her?” I ask and try to sound normal, but fail when I hear my shaky voice.
I turn my head to the side, and sees that no one is in the corridor besides me.

“Well, maybe the fact that you sat and made out with her in public just a couple of hours ago, and you didn’t even think about telling someone before?”
I bite my lip and rub my neck with my hand. I close my eyes and feel hotness creep up to my cheeks, even thought Simon can’t see me.

“Well, Uncle Si…”
“Don’t “Uncle Si” me, just tell me what’s going on”.

“You see, um… Me and Amy are kind of dating?” I say, making it sound more like a question than a statement.
Simon sighs in the other end.
“Look, Niall, I don’t care who you date, that’s none of my business, but I do care if you come out about something like this before even talking to me. First Harry, and now you, I really expected more of you guys!”
“Simon, I…”

The door opens and Amy glides out from the room, looking at me confused. I bit my lip, trying to come up with a good excuse to her, and Simon.

“Oh, Amy just came out here, actually”, I say and give her a quick glance.
“She did, really? Let me talk to her”, Simon says.
“I’m sorry mum, but I have to go now”, I say, and understanding flashes through Amy’s eyes and she smiles.
“Mum? What are you talking about? Niall, stop fooling around and give her the phone”.
“I can’t do that mum”, I say and I have to stop myself from laughing like crazy. “I really have to go now. I love you, bye!” I quickly say before hanging up on Simon.


“Was that your mom?” She says and I nod fast. Maybe a little to fast, but Amy doesn’t say anything.
“Yup, it was”.
She smiles and turns away to walk into the room again. Before opening the door she glances at me. Then she goes quickly up to me and gives me a quick kiss on the cheek.
“Goodnight Niall”, she says when she pulls away, and a smile plays on her lips.
I flash a smile to her. “Goodnight princess”.
She turns away and walks into her room, but soon the door opens again. This time Louis comes out.
“Hi man”, He says and smirks when he sees my grinning face.
“Hey”.
“So, I guess that was Simon calling you before?”
Mt smile fade away and I nod shortly to him.
“He’s quite mad”.
“I can imagine”.

Soon, I say goodnight to Louis and walk into my room. Harry is fast asleep in his bed, so I try to be as quiet as I can when I walk to my bed.
When I’ve laid down I take my phone up. I check twitter and instagram. I let my thumb hang over the messenger-app a few moments before pressing it, composing a new text to Amy.

Niall (baby!!!) Hi hun! Are you sleeping yet? :*

A few moments later my phone bleeps. Harry turns in his sleep and I quickly turn of the sound before reading the text.

Amy♥: Hiii babe! No, not yet, soon though, I’m quite tired lol :*

I smile as I reply.

Niall (baby!!!) Oh, okay, well I’m not gonna keep u up babe, goodnight!♥

Amy♥: Noooo Niall please stayyyy

Niall (baby!!!) Haha okaaay of u say so…


We keep up with that for a while, before she actually says that she barely can keep her eyes open.

Niall (baby!!!) Okay, goodnight 4 real this time! ily, see you tomorrow yeah?♥

Amy♥: Goodnight babyyyy ily too! ;*

I lay my phone on the nightstand besides my bed. I glance at the clock before pulling the covers over my body, wrapping myself up in a little burrito or something.
In my little burrito, I roll over to the other side.
I sigh happily when I feel my tiredness overcome me and I fall asleep to the sound of Harry’s snores.
