So here is my thoughts about the episode!
Spoiler:
Tryck här för att visa!First of all! Loved to see Sansa again! My baby girl! Just seeing her makes me happy. So with that out of the way, here are some thoughts.
Okay, when it comes to Sansa, I understand why she hesitates when it comes to Dany, really do, but she know how to play the game, so I felt like she became a bit stupid in the beginning. Felt like she for a second almost went back to being her old self, instead of the master player she is. Hope it gets better. But she sees a lot of the problems jon doesn't. Sure he didn't want the crown, but he had it, people trusted him, and he can't just ask them to trust Dany. She sees all that, she worries, and thinks in a way Jon doesn't. Jon is more mussel and street smart, while Sansa is more tactical, and on a whole other level of cleverness.
I loved Sansa and Tyrion's scene. Mostly because Sansa sees through Cersie's plan, like the good player she is! Also loves how kind Tyrion is towards Sansa.
Then we have Jon meeting Brann and Arya, well I don't really like either of them, but both scens made me smile, especially when Arya defended Sansa. And Brann whit his comments who throws everyone off guard.
Also loved how the Dragons flew over Winterfell in the beginning, but once again, I felt it was stupid. True Dany isn't as good player as some, but I felt like it would scare most people, more than anything.
I didn't liked how Dany talked like she has to remove Sansa is she can't respect her. Once again showing how little she knows of the North. But anyway, hope it gets better.
I really don't like Jon and Dany, (can be because I ship Jon and Sansa, and Dany and Jorah), and for me it felt forced in a way. I think it's because it happened so fast, and the talk about love, urg, to soon!
And I loved that Jon got to ride one of the dragons, but the scene was to fucking long. Felt like filler, seeing them fly around. The kiss was also unnecessary, but loved how the dragons looked at Jon.
Cersie's scen really know how well she plays the game. Don't like her to much, don't hate her either, but I respect her that she knows how to play the game, most of the time.
Yara being set free, well couldn't really care, just like I don't care about Theon at the moment. I will see how I think about it later.
Seeing Tormund alive, made me super happy! And the scene where he met the others, and the blue eye thing, made me laugh so much! And the scen after that, with the boy! Wow it was once of the best! Loved how you saw him waking up, the blue eyes, the scream, and how they burned him. How everything lit up, it was such a good scene!
Jon getting to know who he really is, was also good, but well it was expected so not much of a shook, and I am more curious where they will take it. I will confess, I don't want to see Jon on the throne, seeing he don't wont it. It will be like Robert all over, seeing he didn't wanted the throne either, and see where that took us.
Sam getting to know that his family is dead, was...um...sad? Well I could see why he was sad, but after what his father did... Well the brother was more understandable, but still. However I liked Dany's reactions, how it went from happiness over the fact that he saved Jorah, to horror, and sorrow. Well played!
Then we have Jamie's arrival, and I must saying, seeing him noticing Brann, was such a good scene. Jamie has come such a long way since the first episode, and being faced with his actions back then, wow so well played! No words, only his expression. Love to see what they will do with it!
And I almost forgot Bron. I really hope he doesn't kill any of the brothers, I want to see him fight with Tyrion and Jamie! Can't say much more about it.
Besides all this, I am sure I missed a few things. However over all, a good episode. There was a few things I questioned, like I mentioned, but over all good. I felt like it was a steppingstone to the rest of the episode, one that was needed, but still. The thing I really like is that almost every character is in one place, love it!
So the things I am looking forward to are:
Jamie and Brann's scene.
Jon and how he will handle his birth.
More Sansa, especially more clever Sansa. I hope Dany can see how smart she is.
And I just need to ask, how on earth did they manage to make the Dragon's look so freaking good, while Winterfell look fake as shit... I felt like Winterfell looked worse than ever... I know that the Dragon's cost a lot to do, but don't make everything else look awful, because of that...
