''500 Days of Summer is a movie about a man with an idealisitc view of love who then sees a pretty girl, and, without even getting to know her, pins all of his hopes and dreams for a perfect relationship on her. When they get together, the girl very clearly and plainly states she doesn’t want anything serious. The rest of the movie is about the dude expecting something from that relationship that he was never going to get, and then blaming the girl for it almost violently. The whole thing is just a bitter, biased MPDG rant written by a guy who had a shitty breakup - which he decides to remind us of with a dedication at the end of the movie. No thanks.''
