Chapter 15
Niall’s p.o.v… The corridor in empty as I walk out of the room and close the door quietly behind me. I take a deep breath and let everything sink in. I kissed Amy. Or maybe she kissed me, I don’t really know. But we kissed, alright? I sight happily and rest my head against the wall. My eyes are closed as I think about the kiss, how she played with my hair and how she kissed with so much eager, but still with so much passion. I smile and let my finger glide over my swollen lips and through my messy hair. In front of my eyes the kiss plays over and over again, and I can’t help but noticing a warm feeling in my stomach, that never been there before. Of course, I have kissed girls before. I had girlfriends, not to mention girls at clubs and such as. But never, never I’ve felt this way after a kiss. As I go back to the others, the movie is almost over. The ship has sunken. Jack is dying. I don’t know, and I don’t care. The girls watch me closely when I sit down, but I guess they realise that it’s pointless to stare, because soon they turn their attention back to the trauma that is happening on the TV when Rose tries to wake Jack up. When the movie is over, everybody turn their heads to me. I feel my cheeks burn as I run my fingers through my hair, like I always do when I’m nervous. Christina is the first to say anything. “Is Amy sleeping?” I nod. “Yeah”, I say to her. “You were in there for a while”, Zayn points out. Louis raises an eyebrow to me. I roll my eyes at both of them. “She played a song on the guitar for me”, I say and take my phone up. I start to scroll through my instagram feed. “What song?” I like a couple of pictures. “Falling Fast by Avril Lavigne, it’s a great song”, I answer, but still keeping my eyes glued to my screen. “Never heard of it”, Harry mumbles. “But the title sounds promising, huh, Niall?” I bit my lip and try not to smile at his comment. Oh, only if you knew, Harry. The girls frown, and my eyes widen. I totally said that out loud. Louis chuckles. “You kissed, didn’t you?” He says. Everybody is quiet as I freeze in mid-action and I see Harry smirk when my cheeks turn red. Lisa sees it too and laughs, loud and clear. “They kissed!” She yells, standing up and doing a victory-dance. “Zayn, you owe me ten bucks”, she adds and turn to Zayn and Katherine, who is still snuggled up on the bed. Zayn mutters something under his breath and hands Lisa a ten-dollar note. I shake my head at them, but I can’t help but smile. How can you get mad at them? “Are we watching another movie or can I go to sleep now?” I ask them, with a mixed feeling of irritation, embarrassment and happiness in my stomach.
